K and I had an impromptu pizza night just so that we could stay in to watch the opening of the Olympics. I think everyone did that, the city was so quiet when I went to the Hut to get takeaway.
The opening was spectacular!!! It was amazing, with all the firework displays and the creative fusion of culture into their performances. I wanna be one of those flying fairies too!! And I want to see those giant footsteps for real!!!!!!!
I don' t know why we didn't ask L, I think we're used to her being too tired to come out on a Friday night. Almost all our Friday night excursions are without her. But I miss R though. She was the one that used to get us together to go out on Friday. Did you watch the opening R? It was great wasn't it? Don't worry, K and I whacked the pizzas on your behalf as well!!

I was watching the opening as well but at home and... half asleep. I was sleeping during the speeches. even some of the marching in.. the part that i was really impressed were the man running on the air and the fireworks. They even have the fireworks with smileys! The Opening is great! Wont miss the closing~! Damn.. now i want to eat pizza as well.... :(
me leh me leh? how come never miss me one? i am jealous! i also like pizza leh. hehe. funnily, i also watched the opening with pizza! hehehe! but di and i had dominoes instead.
