I am tired....
And I want a new phone... and a camera... and a LCD tv... and a whole truck filled with books and manga I want to read... and a ticket to Seoul...
I can hear H and P sighing as they shake their heads, thinking... "She's incorrigible..."

Conversation of the month
We had a girls night out last night, our weekly ritual as a means of relieving stress from our daily lives and just be the sixteen year olds we are inside. And I now show proof of that statement... Deep down inside, we're still the kids we were in high school!!
Location: Local eatery, discussing dragonfruit juice.
Me: I don't like dragonfruit juice. It tastes like banana skin.
K: It does not.
Me: Yes, it does. It even smells like banana skin.
K: *sniffs* I've never smelt banana skin before.
Me: *laughs* I used to when I was a kid.
K: Maybe we should make the skin into fritters.
Me: Don't. Banana skin tastes bad.
K: I've never eaten banana skin before.
Me: Okay, then you can have the skin and make it into fritters. I'll eat the banana instead. Ok?
L: Why are we even having this conversation at this age?!?

For all of us when we're feeling down and depressed
Cassan Said Amer tells the story of a lecturer who began a seminar by holding up a twenty-dollar bill and asking,‘Who would like this twenty-dollar bill?’
Several hands went up, but the lecturer said,‘Before I give it to you, I have to do something.’
He screwed it up into a ball and said,‘Who still wants this bill?’
The hands went up again.‘And what if I do this to it?’
He threw the crumpled bill at the wall, dropped it on the floor, insulted it, trampled on it, and once more showed them the bill – now all creased and dirty.
He repeated the question, and the hands stayed up.
‘Never forget this scene,’ he said.‘It doesn’t matter what I do to this money. It is still a twenty dollar-bill.So often in our lives, we are crumpled, trampled, ill-treated, insulted,And yet, despite all that, we are still worth the same.’
- from Paulo Coelho’s “Like A Flowing River”

Gloomy days
I think the weather is getting to me. The immense heat that radiates from the unforgiving sun, bent in its mission to ROAST all of us and the dark skies that makes it seem like it's about to rain, but it won't because it's not rain clouds that loom above us. It's the polluted, smoky air that is the result of the doings by senseless, selfish humans.
Sigh...
It's affecting me, I know. H says that I've been irritated the whole week, when my usual disposition is one of smiles and cheers. And I know that there has been a mood change for me this week. I can't be bothered to smile much, and am mostly quiet and broody.
Gah.
But... I think that there are other factors as well. A.K. A the gits that surround me. The evil ones that I spoke of earlier. EEwwww...
And honestly speaking, this week has brought one piece of bad news after another. It's been a long tiring week.
I can't wait for the weekend..
Sigh...

I wish...
... I knew how to get rid of the evil people around me. Not necessarily murderous, demented people, but basically people who are rude, unable to comprehend that we need to work together in a HARMONIOUS environment, and basically, people who are so darned selfish that in their little bubble all they see is 'Me! Me! Me!!!'.
Gosh, they irritate me....
I know I'm not the most perfect person in the world, but I do know what give and take is. I know compromise. And I know how to read a situation. If someone is annoyed, I DON'T go bug them. Is it so difficult to just mind your own business sometimes?
Gah.
I wish I had an amulet that would ward off these people. The crystals that L and I bought don't seem to be working very well.
In fact I think they have a counter effect. Rather than keeping these weirdo's at bay, I think it's actually attracting them to me like a magnet...
Cheap things NEVER work. It's about time I learnt that.
But the cheapo in me always turns a deaf ear and a blind eye!!!
Sigh...
Why does it feel like I am fighting a losing battle?

My knee hurts
I think I knocked my knee into something, although for the life of me I simply CANNOT recall knocking it at all (and NO, I am NOT old yet!) and now I can't bend my knee properly.
I am walking around like Robocop, much to the amusement of everyone around me. I think that when I finally meet up with K and L, they are going to have a laughing fit, the useless twits...
Anyways, my sis has finally started blogging! And she's been bugging me to keep reading her blog... goodness... I don't even remember my OWN blog and she expects me to remember hers.
I wonder how long you'll last... before you get bored...
And don't deny it, I know you!
MUAHAHAHAHAHAAHA!
I had a pretty mundane day at work, apart from the hanging up on that irritating roach of a person when he was still talking to me! That was fun! I finished what I had to say and although I heard him starting on a new topic, I just hung up on him! I hope he knows now what a pest he is and will stop bugging us and actually start checking his e mails and do his own work for once.
Git.
The world is full of gits. And I must have the worst luck ever for always running into them.
Go figure.

Boring day at work
Gosh, it's such a boring day at work... And despite having tonnes to do, I don't have the mood or the patience to deal with the workpile at the moment.
Sleep beckons me.
So does online shopping..
And traveling as well.
Which is why my sis is nagging at me, with all these plans in my head, how am I ever going to save enough to actually do what I want to do?
Sigh....
I need to save for my trip to Singapore at the end of the year! Where the boys are performing! And I have friends to go see them with me!
*anticipates*
But it's still a boring day at work... Boo...

Tagged again
I just remembered that J tagged me and since it's a boring day at work, I'll do this after all. Muahahahaha!
1. Last movie you saw in a cinema? The Watchmen. Word of advice, NEVER watch it. K, L and I were like 'What was the movie about? Totally didn't get it at all'. I'm usually a huge fan of comic based movies, but this was definitely NOT what I was expecting.
2. What book are you reading? Haven't been reading much books lately, been reading Immigration notes... and Uni entry requirements... not fun at all....
3. Favourite board game? Monopoly!!!!!!!!!!! I just love winning and trying to steal property from the others. Especially the games we had in my place at Uni, hahahaa!! Except for the moody H who always took it so seriously and kinda ruined the mood for everyone. Gah.
4. Favourite magazine? Erm... I don't read mags unless I am at the doctor's or waiting for someone. Cleo?
5. Favourite smells? The buttery smell of baking. And the smell of rice cooking. And a nice hot cup of coffee.
6. Favourite sounds? Mandu's laughter. My favourite songs coming on like magic when I feel like hearing them. The voices of all the people I love.
7. Worst feeling in the world? Feeling like you've let the whole world down, especially yourself. The guilt just consumes you.
8. First thing you think of when you wake? 'What time is it?'
9. Favourite fast food place? McDs!
10. Future child’s name? Hmmm... I honestly don't know...
11. Finish this statement - “If I had a lot of money…….” I would travel the world, provide for my family and just buy whatever I want.
12. Do you drive fast? Yes. It's something I try not to do, but I just do.
13. Do you sleep with a stuffed animal? I sleep with a stuffed bone.
14. Storms - cool or scary? Cool, but hateful coz I can't go online. Boo.
15. What was your first car? I haven't bought my own car yet. I've always driven family cars.
16. Favourite drink? Iced teas and sojus.
17. Finish this statement - “If I had the time, I would………” Sleep in...... watch lots of movies....... visit my favourite places and just leisurely stroll at my own pace.
18. Do you eat the stems on broccoli? Yea. Is that weird?
19. If you could dye your hair any colour what would it be? Reddish brown with purple streaks.
20. Name all the different cities in which you have lived. Home, Welly and can I say dreamland?
21. Favourite sport to watch? I don't like sports. They bore me.
22. One nice thing about the person who sent this to you. Generous, and alwyas tries to overlook the imperfections of people around her. No matter how glaring they are. Something I can't understand... or am I just impatient?
23. What’s under your bed? Dust.
24. Would you like to be born as yourself again? Yeah. I mean, I already know what it's like to be me. So I know what to expect and can change things for the better. Why would I want to learn about being someone else all over again? I mean, seriously!
25. Morning person or night owl? Night owl. Things are always better at night.
26. Over easy or sunny side up? Are we talking about eggs here? Coz I like mine well done.
27. Favourite place to relax? My room in Welly. When I could shut the world out and belong entirely to ME.
28. Favourite ice-cream flavour? Green tea.
I tag: Nobody. ^^

One Year
It's been ages since I last posted, I don't really know why... but yeah... Hmm...
Anyways, it's been one year since I last recorded not knowing what Mandu looks like. He's almost a year old now, active, cheruby, vibrant and just so.. him. The precious him. We all love him to bits (and he knows that!) and somehow I kinda understand. When you have had a terrible day and feel like killing the whole world, you take one look at him and you smile.
He does make you happy.
Although he can be rather bratty at times and you have to smack his hand.
But he's still precious.
And I am starting to sound like Gholum.
